2009: seibon cf hood

hey all,

i'd first like to wish everyone a happy new year!

secondly, i read some older threads about installing cf hoods regarding the transfer of the windshield sprayers along with the rubber moldings above the headlights and it seems like the majority of cf hoods mentioned were either vis or fiber images and that some came with predrilled holes and some didn't. i would like some advice from members that have experience with seibon about whether or not their cf hoods came with predrilled holes and the difficulties of installing the rubber and nozzles onto the cf hood.

thanks in advance. happy new year!

I just got a Seibon and no, it does not have the holes pre-drilled. It does however show where the holes should be and it would be very easy to drill them out and mount the trim and squirters. I haven't messed around with it yet but it shouldn't be too hard

I have a seibon, it doesnt have the holes, but i also have to switch it with my stock hood in winter, you can mount the sprayers right on the car that way you dont have to worry about it when switching hoods, mine are mounted right on that black grill thing by the wipers

as far as how they're mounted i have no idea, i bought the car with them like this but i do have some pictures, it looks like he took the black grate thingy off then like clipped them in

now it looks like they are too far back but they spray the whole window, prolly better than original ones.
