That's more likely than not, actually.
There is no way a stock geared and stock H22 could get to 160mph. Literally. There is no mathematical way that could be executed without blowing the motor.
The tachometer is off a bit, most people shift when the tach says "8000" because that is the equivalent of ~7400-7500, which is our redline.
Speedometers are rarely accurate from the factory, whether its a bike, an expensive luxury car, or a 10 year old Honda. If you look in car enthusiast magazines and look at the "road tests" they conduct, they will often have a little chart that illustrates what is called the "speedometer error". They do this for a reason--because it is common in almost every massively produced car made.....
