The code is on your driver's door sill. It is different for each assembly line. There can be many different shades of EBP depending on which line it was built. That is why prepainted parts can often be a little off.

as do I, I would bet they paint all EBP ludes with the same paint code. don't most OEM kits match as long as your paint hasn't faded?
EBP and any color can vary from factory to factory and from year to year depending on the mixture, that's why they issue factory codes on the paint codes. View the link.

Some manufacturers have more variances than others. I have herd that Honda can have as many as 6 color variances for each color.
Keep in mind though, that the EBP on preludes was only for 2001, correct? That's not to say the civic's don't have that many variances.

Ya but you can't really tell the difference in shades but its gonna be a little different because there are thousands of color shades and you can't make the same exact shade every time...

know this is reviving an old thread but......my prelude is ebp and with the fading it looks more purple. but if you look inside the door or where the bra was on the car from the previous owner you can see the difference in color. prepairing to get it painted does anyone know if you can order the paint from honda? i know they can take pics of the paint and do a color match? but i think there would be mixed results on that method. ive also read that theres a honda paint code then theres the manufacturer code as well.....??
All this talk about the Civic Si with this color but no mention of the 00-01 CR-V coming in this color as well.
