2000 prelude wont start. - Honda Prelude Forum

So I went out to crank the lude this morning and I guess I didn't hold the key over long enough. It didn't crank (it was a little low on fuel) I tried it again and it tried to start and then went out. Now every time I try to crank it, the starter just keeps wining over several times. I called my mechanic and he said take it to honda dealership. I just don't have the money for that. Just had the waterpump and all replaced on the driver side of the motor with timing belt. Had the head gasket replaced, but can't get raid of this stupid oil leak. Now my car want start up. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

its going to be hard to do without you getting under the hood. you need to check to see if your fuel pump is working (turn key to ON, listen for motor under rear seats/trunk) if you hear that, then its working. i would also go get some gas and put it in since you said you are low! next you need to check for spark up front, if your not getting spark then its nothing to do with the fuel, and everything to do with no spark. so youll need to figure a few things out first!

The injector are working and i can hear the fuel pump turning on. I pulled the spark plugs out and they are wet. I cleaned all four and put them back in the car, still nothing. I have also put in another 3 gallons of gas. The rotor button is turning and spark plugs and wires are getting spark. The battery is fully charged and i just put a new starter on the car still nothing. I can't figure it out the only thing i think it could be is something electrical or my distributor. If anybody has had this problem or knows how to fix it please help. The coil is also in good shape. And it is not throwing no kind of check engine light.

No the starter turns over but will not run i can't figure the thing out i figured if you have air fuel and fire the car should run. I just paid 150 tow bill to tow it to my mechanic to see if he can do anything with it. But if anybody has any suggestions that would be great.
