2000 Prelude SH .. knocking sound from rear end

hey guys ... wondering if anyone has ever had this before

getting a knocking sound from the rear end when i go over bumps. Hard to hear when i'm at high speeds cause of the sound of the vehicle... but wen i'm driving slow and the stereo's turned down its very obvious. i think its the left side, anywyas sounds like a bushing of some sort.

Wondering if anyone had any ideas of what it could be before i do my oil change this weekend, maybe i could buy parts n fix it then.

thanks for your help

How big of bumps are you talking about? Could be a bad shock or strut. Could also be something loose such as the exhaust. I know my friends Camero does this and he has a loose exhaust that can be easily shifted from left to right.

as the op said check struts, exhaust. could also be sway bar oriented like endlinks.
