2000 base lowering springs

Any recommendations on lowering springs? thinking about 1.3" drop with Eibach pro series. Any one running that ? and feedback? also i orderer front and rear strut bars and lower tie bar. Any other upgrades recommended to help with handling? Reasonably priced upgrades please! Thanks KEvin

I've never used a set of lowering spring but if I were to I would first look at spring rates. From what I remember other members have said that Eibach doesn't release information on their spring rates. Also if you are getting lowering springs then I highly suggest looking into aftermarket shocks.

The biggest difference I've felt in suspension upgrades is a rear sway bar.
Look into; Suspension Techniques, Neuspeed, Progress, I'm sure there are others.

Tanabe Sustecs if you can find them. About 1" drop, 50% stiffer than stock. Great ride, not too low.

Eibach prokits just suck for the 4g/5g. Too low (1.5" drop).

For handling:
- tires
- shocks
- springs

In that order. A rear sway is a good investment if you do nothing else.

My '98 has Eibach Pro-kits. They're "okay" in my opinion. If I could do it over, I'd get either the H & R sports, or the Tanabes that Marcucci mentioned.
