18" Wheels

I just got new 18" TSW Lodrina wheels for a great price for my 1998 Prelude Base Model.
I've asked around here and there but cant get a legitimate tire size.I've read if I get 215/35/18 they will be a good fit, but I have to be very cautious on the road because it might damage your tires. But if I get 225/40/18 it would fit godd, have more protection for my rims but it might rub agaisnt the car when I turn.

Any help??

i had that size on mine. It would only rub if i was carrying a heavy load or turning hard. Also depends on the shape of the tire too, some are more rounded at the corners and some are more square. Do your best to fit 40s on there, you will regret 35s i promise.

Best advice: Sell the 18s and get 17s.

on my old lude i had 18x7.5 45 offset with 225/35/18's. a little rubbing in back if weighed down but i was dropped pretty low. when those wore out i went with 215/35/18's and had no problems. you do have to be careful driving though.
