my friend had a type s for a short time and all i have to say about them is they have the WORST torque i have ever seen, that thing too soo long to pick up you pretty much had to break vtec before actually going anywhere. the prelude is better looking, has a better suspension system, and an engine that has great both hp and torque potential, the rsx is just a gas sipper with vtec. besides people can appreciate a clean, well built prelude more than any rsx, its a car that isnt seen a fraction as much on the road, getting a rsx youll just have a car every kid and his cousin has.

FTW. And don't pay that much. sure, it looks clean, but it's not worth what they're asking. These cars hold their value, but not THAT well. I have an auto, and I hate the trans. It works, but it's boring and takes power, and blah blah blah. I'd trade it for a stick, but I'm too much into it $ wise at this point, so I gotta get some longevity out of it before I'll consider. Get a lude, but get a stick, and don't pay a penny over 10k for it.

here in jacksonville ive seen like a handfull of them go for about $6k on average for a 5spd. i think people are telling you to get a base cause i think i heard that the atts system much like 4ws can be a pain to keep in good running order, but im not sure. methodprelude, why not just do a 5spd swap? the tranny isnt all that expensive and im sure you could get the rest of the parts for cheap from a part out.

well here in Vancouver, most of the ones under $10k have over 150,000 mileage. I'm looking for one with 50k-100k which are rare and cost around $12k-16k$
