As far as I know:-

- p72 ECU swap
- Hondata s200 with boost (Running @6psi - stock JRSC pulleys)
- RC 550cc injectors.
- Ditch the JR FMU and use stock FPR.
- Some good dyno air/fuel tuning.

That's it.

you might want to use the search function. you'll find a lot of info on people's setup.

jbx is on the right track, but since you have an SH, i would NOT reccomend hondata. maybe the EFI PMS. if you really want SAFE, you should also get a j&s safeguard. if you wanted really really really safe, you'd build the bottom end (sleeves, forged pistons and rods) but that's overkill for 6psi.

I have a 97 sh w. jrsc @6psi. My setup is:

440 cc injectors
Cartech FMU
VAFC - no hack
J&S Safeguard
JR Electronics removed
Hondata gasket
Oil Cooler
160 degree T-stat

This is a pretty conservative setup. Similar to sharkcohen's except he's using a pms. (Which I would recommend if you don't already have some of the crap listed above.)

Focus on keeping your intake temps as low as possible, and keep her running a bit rich. TB coolant bypass, CAI, heat shield wrap etc. Also, If you can afford a J&S safeguard, then get one. It can save your bacon if a component of your fuel / timing management sys should fail......it warms my heart to watch it retard my timing a bit on a hot day or when I've filled up w. a particularly crappy tank of gas.

NGK ZFR7F-11 gapped to .040

You will want the 1/2 channel J&S for honda. If you CALL importparts.com they should be able to set you up. Always call....it will generally save you some cash.

Another route aside from Hondata would be:-

- AEM EMS
- RC 440 cc.

Yeah, those are the NGKs I use. Some folks use the NGK BKR7F-11, but I think the ZF* plugs are a little better at transfering heat.

For the oil cooler, you are already 90% there since you have the relocation kit. The JR oil cooler comes w. the block adapter and filter mounting hardware ( which you already have ) the only thing you really need is the cooler itself and two of the four hoses JR provides.

If I'd planned ahead really well I would have gotten the jrsc for the base prelude and the oil cooler for the SH. That would have saved a few bones by not having to pay for redundant components.

The hot setup would be to buy a mocal 13 row oil cooler (<$100 ), and a couple of hoses (~$50). The mocal is the same one that comes in the JR kit.

If they are in good condition, the stock plug wires will be fine. There is no need to upgrade your wires unless you upgrade your ignition, and there is no need to upgrade your ignition for the JRSC at 6 psi.

If you install an oil cooler I highly suggest you include a thermostat in the installation. The ultimate oil cooler thread: looking to make a custom oil cooler....help?
