ha - I enjoy camping. In sept or oct it should feel pretty nice. I haven't started anything on prelude power yet. I need to look at a few calendars and see what events (SEC football for example) are going on in order to get an idea of a good weekend. I also started a thread on acurazine - some people seem interested.
It's just an idea for a meet. I'll be going up there whether its a meet or not just to enjoy the weather and outdoors - that time of year is nice.
Hey I'll be happy to go run deals gap again, Camping wasn't that bad I just didn't like packing up all my camping gear into the lude it was a tight fit last time. This time I'll just stay in the Hotel or the cabins to save from having clean all the camping gear and what not when I get home being as I'll be comming from florida. There was nothing like waking up in the morning next to the river though, I suppose if we book early enough we can take up the whole camp ground and not have to worry about other people complaining about us being to loud. I have a couple of people that would probably go being as they didn't go last time and missed out. I can propably get two maybe three from Central Florida. October I'm going to the Bahamas and September maybe too soon as I'm getting married Sat. and will have to fork out some bills and be pretty much broke come Sunday. Which makes for bad timing to need tires and brakes. Towards the end of Sept might be good I know the SEC starts up next week isn't it?
The motorcycle "resort" has rooms there, just your basic stuff. the fontana village is nice too. tapoco lodge would probably be good. tellico plains might be good too - the only problem is that its a good distance from the dragon
We are shooting for 10/17 thru 10/19 - should be nice weather then. friday we may stay somewhere around Boone, NC then down towards the dragon for saturday night. then more cruising sunday. then back to work monday.
I was there last weekend for the first time, couldn't get enough. Hope whoever goes this weekend has some safe great fun!! I had a turd nearly hit me when he couldn't stay on his side of the yellows. Scared the crap outta me, but pissed me off even more!
