Socal Poker Meet in DEC IDEAS ONLY, NO SIGN UP YET
me and a few of the socal boys were thinking of doing a poker meet.
i need people who are more then willing to host a game. we can expect anywhere from 5 ppl to over 30+ all of the said people might not be playing.
so keep in mind you would need access to tables, card and chips. unless someone can figure something out or ppl will bring their own.
we also would have to figure out how much buy in is, and other stuff, and who brings what.

i am willing to host with my house in San Diego, i can prob get any where from 1-5 tables to play poker, and i cna prob get enough chips. but i cannot bring anythign beside beer to a game!
Jon said he is willing to host a game to.
if i host a game i am thinking around 29th of DEC. else ppl bring up ideas. we have to do this after everyone's final!
so get your ideas up.

my finals end on December 15 so the 29th will be a great date to have it end.....
it would be nice to have a meet in San Diego for a change..... i personally have no problem with that...
$10 would be great for a buy-in... hell if 5 people come.. thats already $50 for the pot..... anything above $10 is too much for a casual game.... imo...

mr hien ususally does a 25 dollar buy in. 20 dollar into the pot, and 5 dollar bounty. so that why we got to make these rules before some1 shows up and say. hey i though it was 5 dollars

I was thinking.... I usually play to where "winner-takes-all"... but since I assume at least 20 people will show up... it'll be a decent pot... It would be nice to have it divided by the top 3 (3rd gets some, 2nd gets more, 1st gets most)....

basicly that who i play with, and it always the same. but i dont need to play the same money amount. first of we got to figure out a place. the amount of ppl. and who is bring what.
then we can throw down a game.
o yes, parking is horrible at my place.

hien lives literally 1 minute away from my work...
very true story. and another true story. Gary likes to walk over to my house with the walkie talkie, and tell the ppl he is working for that he is working, when in fact he is over at my place talking to me.
but yes i also live in college area.
i can always setup a San Diego game/meet, that we can do like bi-weekly or monthly.
small buy in or something, just us kicking it for teh SD crew, and those lazy LA/OC ppl can join us when they feel like driving 1+ hours for a meet up, when we do it all the time. *right mike!

Weds the 29th sounds great, I'll be flying back again on the 28th so no worries there. I think you might want to keep the buy-in at $10 to keep it friendly and so it won't be as intimidating for new players.
Maybe we could start having monthly poker meets and just rotate the location (i.e. sometimes in SD, sometimes in OC, sometimes in LA, etc.)
^^ haha umm you got it the other way, i play holdem once a week for the past 6 months. also i play with guys who have been playing years. sooooooooo yea, my learning curve is steper then you guys. so haha i can play dont get me wrong

um yeah, college = breeding ground for good poker players, esp my college where kids play with their play money from parents...haha its soooo fun to jack them
