Hey guys ok well heres the deal. . . . around Northridge, Granada Hills, bla bla bla (San Fernando Valley) area there is a thing called import night. All the rediculusly riced out cars go to the Porter Ranch shoping center at around 9-10 o'clock every thurs. night. . . . I was thinking that it would be kinda cool if we could just dominate the whole night by like having a whole bunch of ludes show up representing PO.com. There is an In-N-Out in the shoping center so we could meet up before and get to know each other (i havent meet any1 yet) and pick our spots before all the ricers come! If any1 is interested or knows what I am talking about we can sort something out. I would just like to give those damn ricers a run for there money :P THERES JUST TOO MANY!!! If you guys are interested I will go on thurs night of this week and try to plan things out and we can set an offical date. Does this sound like something any1 would want to do?

I know exactly where that is... but i'm not too keen on the idea of having cops show up.

That, and it's thursday night.

are you over 18? will you not be stupid and peel out and ****? well then there is nothing to worry about. . . . i have been there soo many times and ther cops show up before the whole event even starts the only thing that they do is kick out the kids under 18 (curfew) and arrest the idiots. I dont see any propblem. . .

No, i'm actually 24... but the idea of competing with ricers just makes the entire purpose immature. I don't feel the need to compete to see "who's got the bigger pen0r"... especially with ricers.

I'm just saying this cuz whenever there's a large gathering, there's always gonna be someone stupid that starts sh*t. Ask anyone who's been to the Ikea Industry meet... that one time the crew of Celicas decided to crash our party. One dumba$$ was walking around talking sh*t and challenging anyone to race him in his stock Celica GT.... all while holding a 40oz bottle. Then a 240 doing donuts in the lot....

All i'm saying is, going to those type of gatherings... you're only asking for trouble, only cuz you never know who is going to show up.

well i was hoping every1 that would come is a lil more matture than that. . . . not flaming but just to let you know i wanted this meet to show the ricers what real cars are. . . not to compete with them in any way. Its cool if no1 likes the idea its all good ill just go by my self :P lol

we just had a meet tonight in irvine

i'm not sure if all of us are willing to go out to a meet just to show up some ricers

most of us generally don't like having meets to "show up ricers" ya, i know they're ugly and stupid, so i guess it's like we don't really want to associate with them AT ALL, yes, we are mature, and the mature thing to do is to just let them live in their own little fast and furious world.

our next meet is the big thanksgiving meet late november, be sure to check out the thread when raman and i organize it ya?

there have been meets like this every thurs night for years around the valley (used to be in woodland hills @ topanga/ventura, then in northridge @ corbin/plummer, now it's moved to porter ranch). i had gone a few times with friends or when i first got my car, but personally, i don't think it's worth my time/energy/gas. besides, there aren't too many POers from the SFV and none of the lazyasses from down south are going to show
