here's the deal. No place I have called will let me reserve multiple campsites so far in advance. So if I put up a LFW thread, people who seriously want to go and camp and everthing have to call to reserve your site within, I would say, 4-5 days of me posting up.
Also, each site holds 2 cars, and up to 8 people. So if even ten people were to call in to reserve sites, we would be pretty safe.
This situation has only arrisen since so many people last year didnt like Santa Margarita lakes location (which I think is great). So I have had to look elsewhere. Let me know guys cause I want this thing to be set as much as anyone else.
oo0o0loo lake cachuma > last year. that road is very fun, a lot wider and probably a lot easier to get pulled over on, but man, that road over the ridge is fuuuuun. plus its a lil closer for all the socal peeps. driving time to lake cachuma = <5 hours. I know cause i used to go to UCSB and its about even with it, just more inland.

Due to financial constraints, if LFW is going to happen this year it will have to be in late July/ early August. As some know, in the past I have paid for this out of my pocket and this year I have had a number of misfortunes which caused me to not be able to afford booking a large lot and paying for permits and all.
I am still trying to get something together, so I'll let you guys know. I want to formally apologize to all of you for not being on top of things this year...
if you need help setting it up let me know. I used to intern for a DA in santa barbara so if its going to be in slo or sb i can talk to him to help push any permits through. pm me if you need some thing
When I said "Lame" in my previous post, it had nothing to do with Tyler. I was just simply stating that it was lame that we were going to have to wait longer for LFW. I meant no disrespect to Tyler.
I've just been getting amped about the meet, that's all.
P.S. The fact that my post was deleted is a little disheartening though....
