Redline might have another Honda Time Trial style Challenge at the next event on Jan 21st. They recently did a DC5/EP3 challenge and worked up a handicap system for mods. Chris from Redline offered to include preludes into a all-honda challenge at the next event on Jan 21st.
Ludatic told him we would have 3 people that would definitely go at minimum, but we would like more to represent So Cal Preludes. Assuming there's no midterms for me, I'll be there, along with Ludatic, and probably Buckwild if he could get out of work (Yes it's on a Friday again). I know Colin (phryxis) will definitely be down to go with his new track goodies. Probably ooandyoo as well. However, the problem is I wouldn't recommend anyone who do not have experience on the track to participate in the actual time trial. None of us want to be liable if anything were to happen......
.......Therefore, those who still want to go and officially turn it into a so cal track meet, please still go. They will still offer normal track day for everyone else who aren't driving hondas or don't want to participate. Or, come out and or bring friends (10 dollar track entry fee per person - free to watch) to watch or ride along.
Prices will probably be $105 - $110 for the track fee. Timing will be $20. So $125 or $130 for everything. Ignore the timing rental if you aren't going to be doing time trial.
So yeah, come participate in the time trial (if they do it on that day), or just a normal track day, orrrr just come ride along/watch/hang out. Preludes need to
Only requirement is a helmet, motorcycle is fine (borrow from biker buddies!). First Timers: PM me or ludatic if you got any questions about anything - we'll try to help you guys get comfortable about going, and while we're there so that you'll have a GREAT time.
More info (handicapping system?) will be posted as we get them from Redline
Remember guys, even if you don't want to participate in the Honda Challenge, you can just attend like a normal track event. Redline is a very organized group.
And for you bishes that don't have enough money, come watch for $10, you can ride along with anyone as long as you have a helmet!

"This is what will happen: There will be a separate section on the Redline Website for challenge participants to sign up on. This will let me know who's signed up for the challenge. It's not set up yet so no one can sign up yet. In about a week it will be ready. The normal track day will be ran in run groups like a normal track day. You'll have all morning to warm up and practice. The challenge will be ran sometime in the afternoon. When the challenge is ran, only 3 - 5 cars will be let out on track at a time. Then you'll have a chance to get 5 laps on the track all alone, with no other cars around. This will ensure at least three full hot laps on track so the driver doesn't have to worry about traffic. After the challenge session, then it's back to a normal open track day. People will still be assigned a run group to use through out the day, but the challenge session will allow you the clean laps. The real test is to see what the fastest lap times are from the challenge session. How fast can you go all by yourself out on the track. It's also much safer that way too."
Following cars are allowed to participate in the Honda Challenge portion
88-91 Honda civic/CRX
92-95 civic Hatch
92-95 Civic Coupe
96-00 Civic
90-93 Integra
94-01 Integra
92-01 Prelude
Remember guys, even if you don't participate in the Honda Challenge, this is still a regular track day!!!

update: time attack will be the first ever by redline, so handicap system is not going to be fully developed. Therefore, the official challenge will by in May @ buttonwillow. The 21st will still have the challenge, but there will be no official prizes or winners - this will help them develop their handicapping system for May.
For those just interested in a normal lapping day, it's 110 for the whole day.
I will be signing up after prepping the car this weekend. I hope there's more people than just me and monk3y ?
