Irvine Weekly Meet's - Honda Prelude Forum

was just wondering if anyone in socal been to that weekly meet in Irvine Located in the Shopping center on Jeffery and Trabuco infront of albertsons. I just went tonight it was pretty decent turnout (about 25-30 import wise). Its a All Car Meet meaning Import's and Domestics. Its Every Wed. at around 9:00 PM. If any preludes are going ill probably be there next week.

i've always done the planning for the UCI meets but i've never heard of this one? what kind of people show up? are cops a hassle?

interesting, but the wrong city to do that in, i figure you would know that the1986. irvine tends to be a bad spot to have anything fix up.

Niffum- yeah same here haha, but really all you have to worry about is reckless driving

Jon Like Wh0a - not quite sure who plans it since it's an all car meet, as for people we have a group form pretty much every crowd. For example the night i went there were; Ep3's,integs,s2000,Accords,civics,prelude(i was the only one haha)Jetta's,Getta's,r32's,Gli's,Gti's,s4's,a4's,E vo 8's,Eclipse's,Celica's,MR2's,Sti's,Wrx's,350's,300 zx's,280z's,240's,Mustangs,Cobras,Camero's,srt-4's, and some old buick with hydro's. and as for cops, the buick didnt even have a exhaust and was reving his engine non stop, not one cop. From what i've herd there was only 1 incident where a cop came but only becuase a fight had broken out supposedly

blk96vtec-I could give you an address to a highschool near the place its about a 8 mins drive away form the plaza if that would help.

i have never had a problem. but i think a massive amount of fix up cars would get more **** then only one. plus when my friends get pick off, they get screwed.

so what do you do at these meets anyway? i don't want to drive all the way down to irvine to just stand around a parking lot talking about cars. i can get some of the PO.com guys to come, but we'll probably go off and do our own thing (like dennys

well i would honostly like to meet up with some 5th gen members, but if driving to Irvine is a hassle dont worry about it then, anyways ill for sure go to the next So Cal Meet you guys setup.

cuz i know most of the socal'ers won't show if there's nothing "going on" like dinner or something. but i could definately setup a little denny's meet or something

i'm gonna make torrance meets just to spite all of you OC'ers hahahah. but i'm serious, i think i'm gonna be making a torrance bbq meet sometime in october/november. probably sometime before the big thanksgiving meet
