So here it is. The track date will be Thursday, June 21. The cost for track day will be $100. The show will be $25. We are still working on dyno and drags. Here is the schedule we are trying to put together.
Weds. June 20- Meet and greet at hotel
Thurs. June 21- Track day at Nelson Ledges, Gates open at 7am, drivers meeting at 8am, track goes hot at 9am. Lunch at 12pm, track goes cold at 4pm and gates close at 5pm
Fri. June 22- Drags are going to be at Mansfield Motorsports Speedway on their new 1/4 mile, concrete IHRA drag strip. Prices are $25 for driver/car and $7 for spectator/crew.(Change hotels)
Sat. June 23- Show at Mid-Ohio during the Tuner Triple Crown Challenge/ Grand Am race. After the race day is over we will have the banquet and awards presentation.
Sun. June 24- Tuner Triple Crown Challenge(day 2)/ Grand Am races. (for those who want to stay)
With the Mid-Ohio race weekend part we can be listed as a club and get our own area in the infield to park as a group. People can enter into the various parts of the Triple Crown(speed comp, show and/or sound) if they want. Chris is going to talk the his conection at Mid-Ohio for some perks. Being a club will allow members that want to be there for the weekend to get discounted tickets with access to pit, paddock infield parking etc.

I swear one of these years I will sack up and drive out there. At this point it wont be in a prelude...but i guess thats not that abnormal these days . When I get my STi i think a track day will be very fun. Maybe it'll be in the cards this year...who knows.

Drag day (Friday) will be at Mansfield Motorsports Speedway. It will be $25 per driver/car and $7 per crew/spectator. They will handle the gates, water box, timing, lanes etc. We will have the mobile dyno there. When I get the times of the day that it will be open I will post it up. Also, its a new 1/4 mile IHRA concrete dragstrip.

Hopefully I can make it this year........it's gonna depend on my financial situation and whether or not I have a new job by then or not (may not be able to get off work that soon if I do have a new job).
Financial--schminancial....you will be there Ali. I'm not completely well off but I will muster it up by then. and show a little skin to the new boss (being it a male boss) and sweet talk for some time off after getting some good early production numbers in right off the bat.
