Who would win, VR4 vs 300ZX Turbo?

All hale the 3 liter turbos! VR4 has all wheel drive, big advantage, but I don't know which would have the greatest potential as a tuner car of the 2. I wanna get one and build it up as a track car some day.

300zx tt, by far. Weighs less and can be made faster. Much much much better car.

I don't think this is the right forum though.

300ZX TT would win hands down. 300 ZX has a stock hp of 285 but that can be turned up to 350 with little investment. The VR4 comes with 310 but its an ass load heavier. The VR4 always ran #2 to the 3ZTT

It actually depends on what kind of race you're talking about. In a quartermile dash, the Z actually comes in behind the VR4. The Z has 300 and in '96 was de-tuned to like 280 for OBD-II. The VR4 is 300 and jumped to 320 in '94 with the 6speed transmission. They were pretty even early on (low 14's to high 13's) but the VR4's got faster as the Z's got slower.
