My same friend (Si) with i/h/e + cams vs another friend with a lude 5spd with intake
Close
My friend with the Si launched at 5k while the other guy didn't...the Si had the jump and kept the lead (the lude's bumper was at his door) till 4th. 4th gear, the lude simply walked from the Si...no contest after 4th gear. I was surprised because I thought the Si had him...keep in mind there was 3 ppl total in the Si and 2 ppl in the lude
But if you can beat him off the line, you shouldn't have a problem...unless he has a b20 block like my same friend with the Si has now

I really hope ur joking.... don't sell a prelude short man.... I've got just an intake and pullies on my lude, and the weld on muffler that doesn't do ****..... i walk the hell out of si's.... it's not even funny how easy it is to beat them. I could launch at 2 grand and not spin the tires and still kill them. they're slow

I think if the SI has a very good driver it will win. I have seen kids with i/h/e run mid 16's. My friend hit 15.7 with a removed resonator in his 00 SI. At the same track and same night my friend was running high 15's-low16's with i/e/p on his 5th gen. I think an SI with those mods is a solid mid 15 car and could even bust a 15.2ish with a balls out driver.
Most SI are driven by glorified ricers, but if you get a good driver in one, they're not such easy prey.
Neither would kill each other that's for sure.
I will kill an SI(even it's it's faster, I'll shoot at him with a potato-gun)
with those mods, from experience no. My friend is a very good driver, he taught me to drive. He's got about 4-5k of NA goodies in his car and only ran a 14.9. Given it was a bad track day. But still.
At about 3k worth of mods, him and I were dead even. But i/h/e and vafc on si, in my experience doesn't cut it.
