If it is the GS it has 230 hp and 210 torque (if I remember correctly). If it is the L he has 200 hp and 210 torque. These are bhp #;s not whp #'s. Off the line, he will probably beat you. But you should beat him on the high end. I raced a 95 Legend and beat him off the line (my Lude is heavily modified). Around 70-80 the Legend is really starved for power. Good luck

Legend's are sluggish even with those numbers so you shouldn't be hard pressed to kick ass.

if it is the type 2 engine then you might have some competition. I think the exact opposite...you will lead in the take off but in the long run Im pretty sure he will take you. Should be interesting though. If it is not the type 2 engine then you will win definitely in the launch and long run. good luck!

As a former Legend owner, I can assure you it's a Type II [230-hp/206 lb-ft tq] if it's a 6-speed.

I had a Type I [200-hp/210 lb-ft tq] 5-speed sedan and I would say it's about as fast as the Prelude.

The Legend will take you off the line, but you might catch up to him in the higher RPM range.

I've got a friend with a 6-speed legend in town. It's stock. My car just has an intake. I guess we could line em' up somewhere's to test but I don't feel like it with how cold it is..

We've done some spirited driving in the past and in the upper RPM's my car seems to be the better.

Well lets see, you have "ram air" and more than one header.

Seriously though, you probably have no torque, but decent high RPM pull. I say you. Even though this race has been over for a while.

So who won?
