Viper-Killing Supra vs. Grocery-getting Snatchback

RIIIIIIGHHHHT-

It was the other night on highway 121 in the Colony. My friend and I were hanging out with the boys(99Prelude_LC & PassatVR6) at the Albertson's parkinglot. My friend drives a 97 TT Supra Auto with some mods. Well, actually, alot of mods: TRD Strut tower bar, Greddy blow-off valve, Greddy front-mount intercooler, Greddy intercooler piping, TRD Exhaust, Rod Millen Downpipe, Greddy Profec-B Boost Controller, Blitz Turbo-timer, Greddy Boost Guage, Greddy Boost Cut-Controller, Racing Akimoto Intake, and a Valentine One w/ hidden display. That generate's 503hp to the and 478 lb. ft. of torque to the crank. Dyno tested, mother approved. That brings about 413.6hp and 402.3 lb. ft. of torque to the wheels. Anyways, back to the race if that's what you want to call it. I don't normally rag about other Honda or Acura owners, but this guy begged and antaganized us on our way home. (Basically talking much noise) My friend and I were leaving the parkinglot and were immediately followed by Mr. Snatachback. We were thinking that he might be going straight, but he turned with us and started revving high and looking over. We looked at each other and started laughing. Jeff was trying to tell that we're not going to race you, but he took off about 3 car length's in front of us and Jeff just floored it w/o even downshifting and passed him in about 2 sec. literaly. Now, also keep in mind that this Civic wasn't stock by any means. It has an engine swap, bolt-ons, weigh-reduction, you name it. After we were about a football field in front, my frind did the hazards and swurved back and forth from lane to lane. When he finally caught back up with us, the guy in the civic came about an inch of my friends door showing poor sportsman ship. This was all fun and games, but he took it to a new level of stupidity.(It's called the lil' wee wee level) That lil' move that he made really pissed my friend off. This time we took it from the light. The light turned green, we took off and immediately gained 3 cars, then it was 6, then 1/2 mile and finally about a 1/4. We raced basically ourself's and took it up to 142mph or so then coasted down to 90mph. This wasn't a kill for the civic, but I thought it was funny to Post.

haha dude, we saw the first one, ALL OF US, it was hilarious! we saw him take off with that super RICE exhaust and then the supra fly by like he was standing still, put about 6 cars on him in about 2 secs. we all laughed cuz he kept wanting to run and he got what he wanted hehe.

for those that don't know, that civic hatch with the LS VTEC engine runs mid 13s. THe supra runs low 12s.

hey fusion, you should come out to 121 sometime, we usually cruise around plano for alil while before and then head over there around 11 on weds.

brian: I installed my new o2 sensor, my car is running a whooooole lot better now. I'm gonna put my vforce back on. We should run again on wed, i'm gonna wait a few more days before i install it to let my computer fully readjust. I think it will be a lot closer, oh and come with your 17s, i'm dead with that 14.1 15inch tire time

I just changed my rims lastnight. I now have the 15's on, but I have no rubber. I had to drive to Mesquite lastnight and almost died b/c I don't have any tread. I'm going to try to get better tires sooooooon, cause I'm gonna die soon if I don't. Wanna meet somewhere tonight. I'm game for racing, cruising, or something. Jeff and I are trying to get out of these girls cooking for us, so help us out a lil'.

haha, dude we need to switch lives, you can go cruise and race and i'll take the girls who cook! a few of my friends are back in town from school but sometimes we go down to garland on beltline sat around 11, lots of races there and never a cop. so might do that later on if nothing else happens. I'll give you a call if we do, otherwise i think i'm stuck with the college girlies, but they won't cook hehe
