Turbo SH -vs- Modded GTP?

I was reading over at www.clubgp.com and i saw a kill story of a GTP beating on some hondas. So i DL'd and watched. He beat on a B20 boosted Teg, a Turbo Lude, and a Turbo GSR. it was pretty impressive. They are FAST cars when modded!
Just wondering if the owner of the Lude is on here. I wanted to hear your story.

It was a Black Turbo Lude with SH rims. Racing a Gold GTP.

I believe its definately possible. Turbo'd ludes on average arent properly tuned :P And you never know the condition of the opposing car, or the drivers skill. The GTPs factory are 280h/260t. So a turbo lude would take a bit of work to even get up on it, to start with. I know their heavy and automatic, but after renting one a few months ago, you can feel the supercharger kick in and it really does help. I was leaving people going up hill on the sunol grade, which is a fairly step grade. So if you modified it ... it'd be over. And i think warren had a modified gtp. He liked it

Oh i know that it is possible. I The races were all from a light which as we all know is not a Hondas strong suit. I wanted to know the owners take on the race and his mod lisst and amount of tuning.

have a good buddie that has a GTP with a pully and it makes GOOD power when it can put it to the ground.

My Brother in law has a GTP and it is all stock except for the U-bend removal and i LOVE the midrange torque out of it. Lots o-fun!!

I was wondering if the owner was on here.

GTPs can be wicked fast when modded. A friend of mine only had Intake, Exhaust and a 3.4 Pulley on his last summer and he pulled on me about 1 1/2 car from a 50mph roll up to about 100 when we shut down. He only pulled away up to around 80mph then it was pretty dead even. My Prelude was probably a high 14 second car last summer. He ran a 14.2 in the 1/4 mile at 97mph with those mods. I've seen other GTPs at the track running low 13s with a smaller pulley and basic bolt-ons. Made me wish I still had my Nitrous last summer because I was trapping around 102mph with Nitrous so I would've taken him top end.

All I know is that they're slower than a supercharged S2000
