i finally raced my buddy today because i got my turbo kit on this weekend. here are the stats.

my car- 97 5speed
- greddy turbo kit at 6.5 psi not intercooled till tomorrow
- greddy evo exhaust with 2.25in custom piping (too small)
- msd ignition, zex plugs, taylor wires
- aem pulleys
- minor headwork

rsx type s
- greddy turbo kit, greddy intercooler, 7.5 psi
- greddy evo exhaust with 2.5 in pipes

the race was rolling because we wanted there to be no excuses about the driving skills or traction. we decided to race from 30-90 mph. the outcome was a TIE. neither of us pulled at all. i was pushing the pedal harder like it was gonna make a difference. i wanted to win so bad. but we both were completely even every inch of the way. i still feel good beacause when i get my intercooler tomorrow i'm sure i can win. then i'll up the boost to 7.5 psi.

man i have a lot of vids of me racing all kinds of cars. but they are not on a digital camera. if only u guys could see the cars i beat when i had my hundred shot. u guys would be proud of the lude. except subex, he hates on all 5th gens.

How's your buddies GReddy turbo kit running? Is he using the e-manage? I've heard it has a lot of tuning problems.

it's running fine. they had a problem with the wiring on the emanage during the first few months the kit came out. it was bad soldering jobs on the emanage. they would just come loose. greddy fixed that though. yes he is using the emanage. we looked into that already. he loves his kit. i love how quiet the exhaust is with the turbo kit install. sounds like a stock vehicle when cruising. then when u punch it the lude just gets real rude and mean.

i have my intercooler on already 28x11x2.75. thanks for the negativity, u hater. but anyways, i already saved money for my engine rebuild which i'm going to do in february 04. i positive my motor will last till then. my boost dropped to 5.5 psi after i put the intercooler on.
