judging by RTR's switch to the TSX, it seems like geometry tuning in an RSX-S is kinda quirky.
You better stand up for that bro, because Im going to post this in ClubRSX to see what they say.

RSX-S, especially the new 05s, they got decent handling. They will keep up with us no problem, if not, out run us.

DC5R and Type-S is different story. Now thats a good match. I heard DC5 still handles better.

To all....I had personal experience on this situation...I own a 05 RSX Type-S and a 5th Gen Prelude as well. They both are very WELL developed cars. However the sad news the RSX-S is Definitely Faster than the lude. I, driving the RSX and my friend driving his 01 SH had a race on friday and I took him by at least two car length. But that is only drag racing. From driving the two cars I would DEFINITLY say the Prelude is a better handling car. Can't say the comparison between the Base Lude and RSX but SH definitely wins in the handling category.

to those that are doubting the handling of the rsx-s vs. the lude sh....please drive both. The prelude goes around corners way better than a lot of cars because of the ATTS. blue_bb6, cgr45, the oreo can ALL back me up on this one. We all experienced the magic of the SH the same night...and cgr45 owns one.
Straight line...rsx got us beat. But the prelude DEF. handles better

what about handling battle between these two:

Base Lude with ST rear sway/Full Coilover system/wider wheels&tires
vs
RSX-S with same mods minus the sway bar.
