Raced my friend the other day...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was chillin' at home in my drive when my friend pulled up in his Audi 1.8T. He asked if I wanted to race so I said sure. We both went down the driveway and lined up infront of my house. There were a bunch of kids playing in the streets so we told them to step aside and they asked if we were going to race. I told one of the kid to flag for us.

I'm on the right side and my friend is on the left side of me. The kid was in the middle to flag for us and when he put his arms down, I took off like crazy. I pretty much smoked my friend off the starting line and was pulling on him hard when my right shoe lace came lose and my shoe fell off. I tried running with one shoe on but it was hurting my feet too much and my friend gained then passed me towards the finish line.

I was breathing so hard because I haven't ran like that in awhile. I said I wanted a re-run but he wouldn't give me a chance to beat him so we just went in the house and grabbed a couple beers.

We told the kids to get off the streets before we started racing so we wouldn't run over them. After the kids got out of the streets, it was pretty safe and we were well within the speed limit.

You could've easily lost control and ran one of those kids over. Always check your laces before racing
