Pulled slowly on a new Altima V6

We were in the middle of the boonies in rural New Hampshire, with long straightaways...every time we came out of a bend, we nailed it (but i never downshifted) and each time i was able to pull slightly. Finally, the guy wanted to go all out and he went to 125 before i chickened out and he pulled way ahead...

I was happy, i was keeping with a 240hp altima without having to downshift at all...

Actually i think it probably was a 5spd as well...if it were an automatic, the car would probably downshift and then edge me out...but if he were in top gear in a manual, then it probably was near equal pull as my prelude in 5spd.

As far as mods for me, nothing significant...only a Mugen exhaust. I was still impressed though...the fact that my car pulled slightly, and the fact that his big family sedan was so damn quick! But then again, he could not hang in any of the turns.

i raced a new altima v6 5spd, he pulled in third gear nicely. Those can run mid 14s all day no problem. It was probably an auto unless he didn't downshift like you said.
