Prelude Vs. S2K

Well you have no idea how much I've been wanting to race an S2000 and tonight I finally got my chance.

We were driving down the street and I pulled up along side him. He slowed down and poped it in to second(I think) I did the same then we both took off at about the same time. He pulled a little at the beginning but not too much. Well we ran into to traffic soon after. So not much of a race there. Then the light in front of us turned red. We pulled up next to him and he brought up the revs as did I, the ligh turned green quick and boom he got me by about a car of the line. (I bogged pretty bad on the launch but enough with the excuses) So through fisrt he gained about another half a car and by the end of third he was about 2 cars ahead of me when we shut down at about 80. This is one death I'm not ashamed of. Those S2K's are bad ass cars. But I think the Lude held it's own pretty damn good. The only mod I saw was a V-tec controller and I didn't notice anything else. We both had one passenger in the car. I think this was my sweetest race to date. :finger:

If you're stock, no offense, but i don't think he knew how to drive his car. I sat in a Boxster S as we raced my friend in his s2000..this kid knows how to drive his car..he had a Type R before that, and a civic before that..he beat us the first race, and then we took him the next two, although they were close..and my stock lude really can't hang with the "S"..

it goes to show really.. 1 little mistake and you could end up losing in a street race! honestly.. really I guess this forum aint really about Honda vs the rest of the auto industrie, but about us Honda enthusiasts giving it to a few domestics as well as other imports!

sounds about right and sounds like he knew where to shift if he pulled on you. I raced an old fart in a s2000 on a roll and i pulled on his shifts
