Prelude Vs Ferrari 348

I lost

Yesterday afternoon, we were navigating a triple lane roundabout with lots of traffic lights around it. I saw him behind me and hoped he was gonna join the dual carriageway which I was heading to, and he did. Once we got onto the empty dual carriageway, we floored it. I estimate he probably over took me at around 70 MPH. I was surprised as I thought he would of passed me sooner. But, it was cool watching him/her glide past me while my VTEC engine was trying it’s hardest. I gave up trying at 110 MPH.

damn you have some balls trying to race a ferrari, atleast you gave her a run for the money. Beside if you dumped the ammount of money it would cos for a ferrari in your prelude I'm sure you could of taken her down. PS: don't feel back I got creammed by a R33 skyline a few nights back, I didn't even come close. =(

I would just like to add that I generally don’t race much, however……. A few weeks back on the way to work, I floored it going along the same road, and a Volvo tried it on AND WON! It was upsetting seeing him gaining on me and absolutely shocking seeing a VOLVO pass my Lude during VTEC ! I still can’t get my head around it. It was big Volvo, not sure of the model - S60 or S80 maybe? But I know some of them produce 300 BHP, so I suppose it may well be entitled to beat my car as it has over 100 BHP more than my car.

Shocking.

I guess you gotta believe that our cars aren't that fast compared to even luxury sedans out there...even top end...even in VTEC But hit the twisties and see the volvo fall back

VTEC = seriously over-rated. I'd rather not have it and just have a better powerband.

A volvo S60 or S80 is no slouch, some of them are twin turbo and AWD so it's no suprise you got smoked.
