Prelude vs. Daytona V6

I was out cruising with my buddy tonight trying to figure wth is wrong with my suspension... and we decided to line 'em up a couple times. Once from about 30mph and anohter from around 50.

My car...1999 Prelude.. only mod is intake and I had crappy H-rated Hankook Icebars

His car.. 92 I think, Daytona V6 with a 92 Stealth bottom-end, exhaust, intake..

Both times I instantly grabbed the lead and from there could gain through each gear depending how high in the revs I dipped. I only went to about 6500 tops in each gear... 2nd aside where I maxxed er out. No trouble winning. Suprised I didn't pull harder in the top end though.

what!!! 6500 rpm's.......thats no fun.......you can go higher if you keep your car maintained without little worry

unless you don't like revving high or running it hard......then i guess its alright

I know I could have gone higher.. I just shift low by habit because my last car didn't make power in the high RPM's so much. So I keep shifting low in my Prelude... even though I shouldn't considering I probably make power way past 6500...

I was also tryin to keep her straight. The road sucked and my first 2 shifts were met with some moderate torque steer.
