Prelude Vs 328 (again) - Honda Prelude Forum

well this time we decided to go from a stoplight..it was sort of a last minute thing so i brought my revs up to @3500, let it out slowly, then dropped it and stop on the pedal..after i brief period of "ERRRR" i was screaming through vtec..i glance over and the 328 is at my back bumper..here comes 8,000, i bang it into second..instead of a chirp, i actually BURN OUT..ERRRRRRR..instantly in vtec, wind it up 2nd and into 3rd..he's about 5 ft off my bumper now..and i take it to just shy of redline, and then shut it down..

now for afterthoughts: My friend's 328 is automatic..he said he's never seen a stick so evenly matched to his auto, actually GAIN on a shift (ie 1st to 2nd)..overall it was fun as hell

what do you have in that friggin lude. It's chirpin 2nd to 3rd and now its burning out in second gear. You must have had a nice break in.

There's absolutely nothing done to it, and i don't know what the lady who owned it before did for break in..I bought it with 22,900 miles on it...o well, me likes
