ohs ive seen this, its on a dvd called mischief. Ive actually went street racing there before when i was younger. Im not sure if people still do it there, its been awhile.

Yeah it was a police block off like that here in Newark, NJ acouple of months ago. It was at a strip called "AVENUE P". Street racing has been going on there for YEARS. I seen people shot over B16'S....Beat up over team names.(Maxxed Out). And terrible crashes(Unfortunetly it was a red 4th gen). Finally acoule months back police blocked it off and got everyone....they impounded over 130 cars...and crushed like 4!

Irene, have u ever thought what if somewhere in philly they opened up a track. So people could actually do it legally. Im sure ill cut down on street racing and plus it can be profitable also for the city.

i don't know about profit for the city.. people don't want to pay to race.. there are places in Cali that I remember reading about that will block off the streets for street racers and the cops just watch.. *shrug* still costs money to pay those officers..
