My First REAL race in the Prelude last night!

Ok, now this Mustang was only a 6 Cyl, but it was my first real race with the prelude. (we're talking, the whole, tach it up to 4500 before the light turns green thing)

So, this guy pulls up next to me, ok. Thinking, ok, no big deal, whatever. Light turns green, we both take off slow. Well, right as I shift into second (thinking, no race) he guns it. So, you can't downshift into first, so I was like, damn, now I have to just pray that second will hold me over. Well, I VTEC engaged.... BUH BYE

The next light. We look at each other. It's on. Light turns green, and what do you know, after about 5-6 car lengths later, I look back, and there he is. Ahhh... sweet victory.

THEN! The guy wants to race again. We go through this for 5 straight lights (on Rockville Pike, if anyone knows where that is) and everytime I absolutely spank him by at least 5 car lengths.

it's about time I get a real race!!!

Go win 4 the SH. BTW, 1st is good to 40 at 8000. Does this site have a prelude registry? It would be nice to know how many si's, sh's, ss's...etc there are here. Seperated by generation offcourse.
