Yup, my desire to test my truck against an SRT-10 got the best of me..........one time. Definitely a childish thing to do, but at least I wasn't on my way to grandma's house in a wrong-wheel-drive four-banger.

C'mon.....you mean to tell me you only really pushed your Lightning one time? If that is true, Ford has another vehicle that better suits that type of driver.

Ah, here it is:

Given the location of where you street raced, you easily could have hit a thug, a drug dealer, or a hooker. Even so, I don't think they would have cared where you were going or what you were driving as you flattened them. You are no more innocent than the teenagers you have been picking on lately.

Yes. That thing was too stupid to be pushed on the street. It would swap ends if you jus looked at the gas pedal.

I spent a LOT of my Tuesday nights at ORP.

(and about the street where it happened: you'd drive fast through there @ 3am, too.......whitey!)

Why the **** is there a street racing section if one cant even post in it without getting flamed? I did not weave in and out of traffic, I did not run any lights, and I did not hit anything. There was NO traffic around us during the 10 second sprint. I am well aware of the stupidity and danger behind street racing. Also I know it is illegal, but I read racing threads on many different forums including this one all the time. I always try to share my experiences. I thought that this section was here to post races in. I guess I was wrong. Sorry for sharing my experience everyone. I will never post a race on this forum again.

I might be less inclined to harass if these races weren't against other equally slow cars.

I like to race faster cars too. My lude sleeps in my garage every night next to a 2006 blue on gold BBS's Suby Sti(Brother's car). Its a lil more fun to race. But still the Lude is my pride and joy. I know its not the quickest, but I still enjoy driving it everyday. And that being said there are still a small number of cars the Lude can run with. Dont ask me how, the difference between mine and my brothers car makes the Lude seem like a slow go kart.
