In this race, basically a s2k races a CL-S. I pace behind them and see if I can keep up on my 50 shot cause I only got a weeee prelude. So yea.
I have an extra passenger who is filming, and the other 2 cars are by themselves.
EDIT: Also to add, I gunned it when I heard the s2k and CL-S exhaust go off. So I had about a .5 late reaction than them as well. So, with an even race, I think I would put a good 5-6 cars on an s2k from a roll to from 50 to 120. https://webspace.utexas.edu/trana6/t...ls-prelude.mpg

looked like it took you awhile to pull up, but hey nice ricer flyby that doesn't really prove anything, obviously they had to have braked or they slowed down before you started to pull up. The only reason why you even passed them was because of the fact that they slowed down . Thats probaly why you got your so called car lengths on both those cars to me. Looks like they both would stay in front of you. Also that S2000 looked mighty slow. e and my cousin raced a CL - S with mods and he beat it alot worse then that.

that is what i said, i pulled on a s2k wit a 50 shot. if i had a 75 shot i would have blown the s2k away. also, if u didnt read correctly, they BOTH had a jump on me, and i pulled on BOTH cars.

i keep watching the video and still dont see a major pull until i see lights brakes or hazards flash cant really tell. ihave a question why didnt you race the s2k yourself? Why do you think your car is so ****ing fast when you run a 14.5 that is so weak. Most bad S2k drivers hit mid to low 14s stock and the better drivers hit high 13s no problem. I am not saying i am the best driver in the world but i have raced my other cousins modded 35th SS and only lost by 1 car til 110 and he runs low 13s high 12s consistanly. But hey if you say you pulled them then you did good kill for you.LOL Drew
I've noticed that this always seems to happen, these fights. And they only come from owners of cars that are higher priced, but not that awesomely fast. I had this argument with my friend with a 350z. He kept talking about how fast it was, and from a roll how he would kill me, and from every race roll race we had, i would tear his car a new one.
From stop races, I would get him in third gear and pull hard. Maybe its just me and the test I have read, and yea, the test drivers aren't you because you are ten times better than any magazine tester, but the 350z beats the s2k in straight lines. Now, maybe I'm doing the math wrong in my head, or maybe I have an overinflated prelude ego (although I don't care for my car anymore and want a g35 coupe, go figure right.) but if my car can take my friends 350z...iunno....maybe that exhaust and intake of yours gave u 20 hp, but im pretty damned sure i can take ur s2k.

dude i also raced afriend of mine's 350z about three weeks ago and was able to beat him 3 times twice from a stop and once from a roll. So what is your point i also raced the same 350 in my friends s2000 (my S2000 was out of commission due to weak clutch, these races were a month before got my new clutch) and he had 18 in wheels and exhaust and still took him twice and lost once due to miss shift but it was my friend s not mine i have a counter sunk knob and his is stock and sits about an inch higher than mine. So comparing my s2000 to your friend 350 doesnt show me s**t.
Drew
ummm the video clearly shows that he started pulling on them pretty badly. They didnt break until just after he passed the s2000. You know how long it takes to catch up to someone if they have a headstart... Plus from another 5th gen NX 50 shot owner the lude KILLS s2000s from a roll. I've never raced one from a stop but I'd imagine it would be about the same outcome. So yeah the s2000 isnt as bad as people make it out to be. Have a nice day!
neither is a 50 shot prelude ctprelude and are you guys blind i am not seeing him pull until they both let off the throttle. And i am 19 not that has anything to do with it. Have i stated something immature, no i havent i have just stated my opinion.
you should definately look in the mirror bud you are basing one or two of your experiences with s2ks and saying you could destroy all when fellow sc board members all say it is a drivers race. And i am not the one who said torque is more important from a roll when torque moves an object and horsepower keeps it going lol. But anyway no hard feelings i actually said i have a lude and am planning to go jrsc in the near future.

Yo ZMonkey, it's all good man. I had a long argument with Plar in the Street Racing forum before too, but I guess he still hasn't grown up?
BTW, you were totally pulling on them. It's VERY obvious.
