Hey guys, just wanting to know how much trouble a Mini Cooper S would be? Does anyone have any experience with them? My brother is getting one and he's pretty anxious to run me. I'm a pretty much stock 97 SH, just a Type S intake. He'll be stock too. Thanks.

i raced one on the freeway in my 6th gen accord 4cyl auto with two friends....from what i can see he was alone with exhaust and intake maybe some other stuff but he burnt me....seemed as fast as a prelude or gsr, maybe a lil' faster??

hehe,, I got to race one going down 121, it was the S. I pulled him by about 1 car length but the little thing was fast!! Geez, I was surprised! We went from a stop to around 130 I let off and he kept going , but if your stock ill say your gonna lose pretty bad!

I think the S is about a 15.1 second car stock.

ive seen some pretty modified mini's running around here, bunch of old men driving these fast little squirt cars!

was this pre-boost or post-boost?

ummm are you asking if that was before boosting or after? I was boosting from get go

yeah i was asking whether this was before you put the turbo on, or after you had the turbo on, guess you answered my question

I was on track with one in a Celica GTS. I walked him on the straights...but since he was on Hoosiers, and the chicks car I was driving was on streets, he ate me up in the twisties. So...if you can beat a GTS, I'd say you'd be okay.
