Me vs S2000
I was doing a drag race with my frds S2000 tonight, basically we wanted to see how close I could catch up with his car. His car is bone stock.
We took off the line pretty close, as he didnt drop his clutch to take the advantage of manual tranmission while I drive SS. At the end of my 1st gear, we were dead even. Upshifting into 2nd, we are pretty much the same, at the end of 2nd gear he was half a car length ahead of me. By the time i shift into 3rd, he pulls ahead and now im following his bumper tail. When the speed reaches 170km/h, he started pulling further apart as I hear him shifting to 5th/6th gear.
Judging by the distance btw our cars, I need about 10 more ponies and i should be able to go head to head with him. S2000 weighs 200 pounds less and has the six speed to help the acceleration. Can't wait to install my Type S pistions and get the headwork done then we'll test it out again.
