me vs prelude vs gsr hatch on video

Well I was headed home after taping some races when I run into my buddy Igor with his doppleganger prelude CAI/Exhaust, black spoiler, 5spd hehe i run him a couple of times and rape him even after i taught him how to launch. now he has to learn how to shift! I'll post videos of him later....

The other guy in the white hatch is funnycar on the other boards. He has a civic hatch with gsr motor and bolt ons, clutch. I used to beat him before his clutch but witht he new clutch he chirps 3rd and takes off like a bat outta hell!!!

First race i was very scared so i jimmy jumped the line. He runs a 14.3@98mph and we both had a passenger.

Second Race I hold still to get a fair race despite my antsy clutch foot. We have equal launches, i lose a efw inches on the lane change, no biggy considering he pulled HARD on me and chirps 3rd gear in this video Hard to tell but at the end of 3rd he was 2.5 carlegnths up. normal carlengths not hatch lengths, and thats to my hood not to where i'm sitting including his hatch length.

That was hot, what exactly was the hatch running under the hood, it said I/E/clutch but I think there was more than that...

b18c1 is teh american gsr engine, i made a mistake. he told me he ahs the JDM GSR engine B18C haha, hes proud of that and its faster than a gsr. He runs a 14.3@98mph in the middle of summer and only beat me by about 3 carlengths to the 1/4 so that puts me right in the mid 14 range on the street like i always say i am

actually 3 car lengths is a lot on the track.

i went up against one of those dakota rt's at the track once. he totally had me off the line with his higher stall torque converter.

anyway, i had a pretty ****ty run but trailed him by about 3-3.5 lengths.

his final time was about a 14.5 compared to my 15.1 or so. and my trap speed was still at about 93mph.

i've had this discussion on club si using math and physics

every tenth of a second is closer to 1 car length. this applies to equal launches and reaction times. and similar trap speeds. If i were to hit a 14.3 my trap should be at around 98 on my car. according to your experience i'd only lose to an ls1 or supra TT by about 6 or so carlengths???? wow i wish i could stay that close

oh the reason your experience is only 3 or so carlenghts is because a 93mph trap speed is in the 14s, you shoulda hit a 14.9 or so.
