me vs old guy and his supra...

last night i was coming home from NJ down I-95 N and i spot a black turbo supra. not many other people on the road at 1 AM and i don't see these beasts often at all. i had to try to race just so i could say i got smoked by a supra

i get next to him and it's this old guy. naturally the first thing i do was give him the "nice car" nod and sign. he looks my car over real quick and nods then pulls away. i pull in front of him and put my hazard lights on ( ) then he changes lanes and gets next to me and just looks at me. we slow down to ~40 and then hit the gas. almost immediately he's 2 car lengths ahead of me. i thought i started to catch him but he was playin me for a fool and just zooms ahead and i give it up.

i got schooled, but it was sure fun.

i did the same thing with a brand new m3, it was some older dude, he was cool as hell, around 2am on the 57N, pulled next to him on tha freeway, we both nod, i pull ahead and throw the hazzies on, he catches up, stays even, then he's GONE!!! he waved out the window as he goes bye-bye. it's just cool to see an older guy in a bomb ride get balsy and race.

btw, was the turbo supra completly stock? were you in 5th the whole time.

i remember coming home from orlando once with a whole crew of mine, we were at the sonic near i drive this guy in s supra turbo , looked stock, cuts off my friend in his accord, then slows down and wont let him over nearly running him off the road, and proceeds to take off, so im like wtf, i chase him down, look over at him, we were doing about 75 on colonial near sound advice if any of you know where that at...anywys, he looks at me like im a little biotch, and trys to take off.....but little did he know that back then i had the 75 shot on the lude..haha, i pulled away from him all the way to 125, and after gaining a few cars on him gave him the finger as he flew by......on a side note, at the tuner bash in daytona a few years back, i was coming into daytona beach with freinds , a freind behind me was videotaping, i get next to this wicked looking supra with hugemongass rims...and the pass looks over and the first thing he says to us as were drooling over his freinds car is...man those JDM headlights on your lude are badass!! i was like uhh huh...sweet ..aprarently he owned a 4th gen, needless to say the light turns he hauls ass, and there i am on the vieo taking off with him, he didnt kill me, but my car was all sideways in the front looking for traction as i squeezed right off the line, it was a sight to see on film from behind..lol...oh the day with the happy gas, i miss thos days sometimes

You know what is funny about these types of stories is that they may be on another board.

There story would read:

"So I was cruising in my M3/Supra/Ferrari and this ricer kid thought he was all bad ass. Rolled up next to me, gave me a stupid grin, and tried to race me. We were cruising at 60 and he took off. Naturally...I whooped his ass and never looked back. Another loss for those stupid riceburners."

i think it's hilarious that people actually put their hazards on to signal a race.
