me vs juiced TL-s

last nite i saw a decked out black TL-S on the road...he kept on trying to instigate a race but now lately my car has been acting up ALOT and i don't want to mess it up anymore than it already is so i tried not to pay any attention...but eventually i jus decided to give him alil taste and hope my car don't go boom...

i downshift to 2nd while going 40mph and jus opened it up and so did he...i pulled on him about half a car and just called it quits while shifting to 3rd...but then we caught a light and he rolled his window down...he asked if i was turbo and i said yea then i asked what he had...turns out the TL got a 75 shot alot with an vafc and i guess bolt-ons at least...so that explains why i didn't completely toast him...

from the light we took off again but i didn't launch it at all cuz it was already green and i didn't have time to prepare so i had a slow start and he pulled a fender on me from the start...but by the end of 2nd and beginning of third i had about a car on him but then while in 3rd my car bogged and he zoomed by me...

i really gotta fix my car...

well after running with the turbo for a year now things started to act up..im pretty sure it started with my jacobs ignitions system because it kept melting my dis. cap and made me change my spark plugs every month...

but now i don't exactly know whats the cause of the problem but i have lots of ideas..i jus need to find some time to give my car a through check..

What kind of power are you putting down with the turbo? I am just curious. I have a TL-S and it devistates my 01 Prelude w/bolt-ons. Good kill by the way!

Your 01 just has bolt-on's and ummm yea's prelude has turbo, a big difference in change from just bolt-on's Vs. turbo

I am very aware of the difference. I was just curious to see how much power ummmm yea's car was putting down to the ground. He must be making some good power because a TL-S with a 75 shot is making around 335 at the motor and 251 to the wheels (25% drivetrain loss - auto tranny sucks). However, the TL-S is about 600lbs heavier than the lude.

Mad props to him for the kill.

Oh yeah, my TL-S doesn't have a 75 shot. I am sporting Comptech headers and an AEM CAI.
