Me vs 03-04 GTI (r32 looking one)

I dont know what they are rated at exactly, but i heard someone had problems beating their friend's gti here.. Anyway i was minding my business driving on this local highway named st. george's ave here.. I was crusing at 40mph (it's 45 for the speed limit actually) blasting my trance music... And suddenly this guy with a fitted cap in a yellow VW pulls up to me hitting the gas and getting off of it.. Giving me BOV salutes. I look over and say " Are u serious??!!" "right here??". I know how the cops are on that road.. he knods.. and downshifts. so i downshift to 2nd and catch up... i am pulling this guy pretty moderately.. as i went into 3rd i was a half a car ahead.. we go from a stop with him in front of me at the light.. Van was in the left lane.. he goes and i go behind him going to the left lane... I pull on him again.. he gives me the thumbs up and turns into Mickey D's.. I head home... I am BASICALLY stock as u guys know.. Type S intake adds a little torque.. For all we know.. That's it..

I raced a R32 on the highway. I never downshifted from 5th, and we started at about 80. We were pretty close to even with him pulling slightly, until I hit 120 and the cams switched over. Then, I walked him pretty bad.
