Me against SRT-8 JEEP - Honda Prelude Forum

Im just leaving the mall MMOB at the light and a SRT-8 JEEP pulls up to my left side and the guy just keeps glancing over at me. His passenger is peeking over also. Im thinking maybe they are just admiring my ride. He gives it alittle rev so I know what time it is! I put it in 1st gear, and Im ready for the green light. Light changes and he pulls off like a bat outta hell. He pulls instantly like 1 car on me. We get to about 50ish and I pull even.Not soon after that I am putting about 1/2 a car on him. I shut down after that and he does the ricer drive by and dissapears into the night! All and all....I think I need to learn how to launch better. Good quick race though!

Oh BTW....I was driving my GTO.

I love it too...BUT they could have added a sun roof and navigation options to this thing!

We came really close to buying a low mileage 6sp 06, but opted against it because of the gas mileage. (At that time, gas was hovering around $4/gal.)

It was a red color w/ a subtle orangish hue. Beautiful car.

Good job, this thread make me miss my jeep tho, 96 XJ with 3inches of lift and 31s, the thing would dig itself out of many mudholes.

I wish my friend's GTO wasnt auto.

Maybe I wouldnt keep up with him on the highway..

Its a fun and great looking car anyway though.
