Me against C6 ZO6....ZO...waht??? - Honda Prelude Forum

I was cruising around 60mph and this black ZO6 pulls up next to me and starts revving. I look over and laughed at him then I slammed it into 3rd gear ('00 Prelude SH w/ I/H/E/VTECH controller) when I hear him get on it and I started pulling hard. By the end of 3rd I had about 3 cars on him and by the end of 4th, I was about 6-7 cars ahead. We slowed down and he looked over and asked if I had VTECH and I said hell yeah my **** gots VTECH. Then he's like "no wonder I lost to you, good race man". I love how them V8 guys always think they're all fast and **** but they don't know what kind of power VTECH gives you.

Dude....I really question whether you beat a Z06....even with all those mods. And it's vtec, not VTECH.

If anything and if it was a true C6 Z06 vette, he was playing with you.

But doesn't the Veyron have quad vtechs? Not sure how you took him.

yeah i hear if honda does a 6th gen its gonna b quad cam with the quad "vtech" so theyll now have sohc dohc and qohc, lol honda is doing it as a slap in the face to bugatti, because you know, theyre such fierce competitors lmao

also, in car vtech phones are a standard option

I was thinking about posting up my race with a ZR-1, but since you posted your experience with the Z06, i'll hold off.

Sometimes if it wasn't for vtech, I don't think i'd win a race. It just pulls so hard, almost like I have a second turbo!!!

Some people just don't realize the greatness of the VTECH.....

I sold my Prelude because I couldn't handle all the power....I needed something more sensible and less dangerous, hence the Supra TT.
