Are my definitions and steps to perform the technique correct?

Does blipping the gas, while having the clutch in and the tranny in a gear do any harm to the clutch?
I don't think there's any throttle blipping at all in double clutching itself..i just clutch once to get it into neutral, then clutch again to get it into gear..then mash the gas

and yes, having blipping the throttle while in gear with the clutch in will wear the clutch..it just allows your motor to catch up, and im assuming from how smoooth you can make it by matching revs that it also saves your motor mounts...i however don't do this anymore..i got tired of frying my clutch..i just double clutch it..no gas whatsoever until im off of the clutch...it doesnt make for smooth downshifts though thats for sure!

if u dont rev match when downshift or double clutching, it makes for a very jerky transition (not smooth at all), furthermore it puts extra stress on the engine.. just watch the tachometer if u downshift from say 4th gear at 50mph into 2nd gear and dont rev match, the engine goes from I dunno like 3000RPM way up to around 6500-7000RPM.
The surge of the motor going from 3K and immedately spinning to 7K is alot of stress on the valvetrain

I could never win against my friends 95 GSR with I/H/E, off the hole, he would always beat me by like half a car, but on the highway, I was able to beat him

but i now have a baseball bat in my car at all times.

My best friends dad is a cop. He told me never to carry a bat inside a car because it can be used as intent in court for a lethal weapon. Instead he said carry a 6 cell Maglight in the car. Its harder than a bat and there is a reason it belongs in a car. In case you ever break down at night?

And trust me, I would rather get hit with a bat than a 6 cell Maglight. Those things are HUGE.

Well A bat alone will get you in trouble but if you carry a glove and a ball you should be ok.
