I don't post much here...but can't we all just get along? I had a ss prelude with a 55 shot and I just recently (2 months ago) got a 03 s2000. granted that switching to a manual makes a world of difference, I'd have to say that a manual lude (I've been in a couple that raced) with a 55 shot should be a damn good race for a s2000. It seems that my ss lude while spraying (from a roll that is) seems to pull a little less than my s2000. Granted that a manual lude will have better gearing and will be faster than an ss from a roll. A stock or even bolt on lude will be slower than an s2000 IMHO

I know I haven't really added much to this debate but...conclusion

stock-bolt on lude vs s2000 ... I'd give it to the s2000
JRSC or nitrous lude vs s2000 ... I'd give it to the lude.

magazines dont really launch and they get horrible times for every car (duh) , most of the guys on s2ki run low 14s high 13s stock period. So think what you want this thread is getting so old. Keep reading those mags. lol I rely on times you guys post and the times s2000 guys post on here and s2ki.

There ya go. bolt on prelude vs. s2000. That prelude runs a 14.8 IIRC.

The whole thread is at OUZO Power vs. S2000 (Vid)

haha, enjoy. Not saying it sets precedent over all other S2K's, but it does show that it can happen.

To be perfectly honest, i've seen plenty of mild/heavily N/A preludes beat S2k's on the road. I've raced my friends S2k and I beat him of the start all the way until we both hit 3rd gear ... thats when he caught up and passed me. This is with a AEM CAI and exhaust too ... so with that story- it's all up to the driver.

In my honest opinion .. i don't think a stock s2k will beat a JRSC prelude. It may keep up but in the end I believe the S2k will lose ... sorry.
