Jeff's 5th gen with zex 15hp shot vs...

Oh man what a fun 45 min I just had. Okay let me set up this story. I have not used my zex 55 shot since I was last at the track earlier this fall. Since then I have had the same bottle of nitrous in my trunk...def. less than 2/3's a tank. Now I also don't have a bottle warmer. When I purge you see no cloud...just sound...anyways here's what happened:

I'm on the way to the library tonight to study for my 3 finals i have monday and tuesday with my cousin and girlfriend who are in the car with me. Well this clean rsx type s pulls up with some girl as the driver and some guy in the seat next to her and their friend in the back so its an even three on three, well actually they were small people...two girls and one small dude vs...my 160 lb butt and my couins' 200 lbs an my girls under 100 lbs. So she revs at me and takes off and I follow...so they get the jump and i hang till the next light...I'm like honey open my bottle...lets use up the rest of what I got...so I open the bottle and at the green light we both go I drop from 2000 hehehe just to see how much the little nitrous that I have will help...anyways she pulls half a car until I hit vtec and then I start to pull all the way through third where I'm a car and a half and pulling slowly...then I slow down to go from a 40 roll in 2nd gear. Same result hahaha...now the bf in the pass seat is pissed...at the next light he gets out of the car and switches places with his girl...now im like hahaha he just won't learn...like he'll be much better...this time I drop from 3 k rpm with a little bit larger of a lead...and yes o yes did I hazard him every single time . At the next light I had to turn so he pulls up and asks me what I have...with a really pissed off look on his face so I thought I'd really make him feel worse and told him all I had was intake, pulleys and exhaust...and he was like WTF? how the hell did you beat me? I just shrugged and took my turn

Okay now after I get to the library and find out that its closed I am on the way home and this lil black civic with 4 dudes in it pull up but I didn't think much of it cause he didn't even have any bolt ons...just lowered...but of course he revs and as he begins to try to take off I hit the purge and all I hear is OHHHH SHI****** HE'S GOT NITROUS I'M FUC*******ED!!!! I let him pull up to me and he trys to take off...I give him a car lead before I punch it from a roll at 30 in 2nd and just eat him up and spit him out so quick I don't think he knew what happened he was a really good sport about it though...he pulled up and complemented me and my car several times and asked me what kind of nitrous blah blah blah so that was kill number two for me.

The last one happens as I pull up to preston and spring valley which is a nice intersection to race and the civic is in the far left lane and me in the far right lane...well the civic already learned his lesson so he didn't bother but with my window down i could hear these two white dudes in this newer monte carlo talking about my car: "dude I can tell man all he has is just an intake and exhaust...its just a honda...those things are slow...they only have 4 bangers." So I rev up and so does he...but we were on a hill so I had to hit the brakes to keep from rolling into the car behind me right before the light turned green so I only launched like a 2k but once I hit vtec I pulled so hard and left him about 3 cars by 80...at the next light I got a thumbs up and that concluded my fun for the evening. Let me remind ya'll that I have so little n20 pressure that the purge didn't even let out any sort of visible cloud on purge and I couldn't break traction when I sprayed...so I must have been only spraying no more than a 20 shot. AND yes I know that it was stupid that I sprayed against a civic...but I wanted to use up all my nitrous in the bottle and I am selling it soon so I figured why not.

Sorry this is long but sometimes the details are what make the story. Hope you guys enjoyed!!

nice, just wondering tho, what does an OBDII workaround do if you're not FI? also, what kind of tires are you running?

nice, but you were spraying against an rsx type s and only beat it by about 1 1/2 cars? those things are fast nd i have respect for them

OBDII workaround keeps your ecu from remembering what mods you have and basically keeps it from storing memory...its like pulling your 7.5 A fuse out everyime you shut the car off. I'm running khumos supras....not that great a tire if you ask me but affordable...and like I said I barely noticed any pull in the nitrous... hence the assumption of low shottage...Usually on even a half full tank of nitrous you can get a visible purge which shows that you still have some nitrous in the tank...and I would make an educated guess that with good bottle pressure on half a tank for the zex kit you could pull a 35 shot out...but see I barely had any nitrous in the tank...I was just trying to finish it off. I also thing those type s's are faster than our 5th gens assuming equal drivers so for me to pull as much as i did I thought that was pretty damn good. Also I had a lot more weight in my car then they did...two small asian girls and one small asian dude in their car and me and my cousin is about 360 lbs and then another 100 for my girl plus 3 full sets of books since we did have every book for every class to study for our finals...I think it was a very justifyable win.

Nice kill! Without a bottle heater you wont get too much pressure from it, I would definately say that your win against the rsx was a good one.

actually no...the avg 1st yr dental student just out of school makes 115k a yr...a dentist who has been practicing for a few years can easily make 200k if they have a nice sized practice...lets just put it this way...my folks are both dentists and each make a lot more than 200k apiece a year...so yes it is def worth it.

yeah UTD has a pre-health program...but IMO its not that great...if anything that office slowed my application process down because of the fact that they were so slow to send off my paperwork to all the schools or didn't send all the paperwork to the schools.
