I was bad last night... Two races. One loss.. one win

I dont really have any mods.. I have a type S intake.. A stage 0 clutchmasters clutch which is actually stock in specs.. But not in design.. And now a 4th gen vtec LSD tranny...

I ended up running into an old acquaintence last night. He bought my friends old 95 2 door civic coupe.. Had a b16 in it and was fast, but he swapped in a b20 crv motor and changed the head to a type R head.. Plus a bunch of other goodies like e-management....... So I raced him from a light.. I wasnt sure at first if he was gonna race so I took off normal to see if he was gonna.. He had no passenger, and I had my brother who weighs about 160... I heard him trying to get traction through 1st.. I was pulling ahead of him, but once he hooked up he started to pull past me... Not at a blazing speed, but definetly pulled past me.. We stopped at about 75mph.. He was a car ahead of me.. Keep in mine I dont have NEARLY as much work as him.. And he had the lighter car..

Second race.. 1995-96 mustang cobra convertible.. He was lowered with exhaust and some "gauges" on his dash.. had one passenger.. my brother knew the guy so we went from a stop and a roll.. Lauched the lude and he was still at the light so I take it he stalled out..

next we went from a roll at 45mph... I left it in second.. And when he downshifted I hit it, and stuck by him and started to pull past him.. By the time we let off I was almost a car ahead, and I was still slowly pulling away... When he pulled up next to me he said he wasnt on it all the way.. I said your car was screaming pretty loud if u were at partial throttle.. He asked what I had done.. I said pretty much nothing.. My brother told him to tell everyone that he got beaten by a prelude.. since his friends swear up and down that that cobra was SO FAST, and beat his friend's S2K.. I dont think i can hold a candle to an S2K...

NO more racing for me!! been a long time..
