greddy turboed w/hondata s100 vs. a vr6 1998 gti vw

my buddy has a vr6 with exhaust intake and neuspeed chip he keeps saying he can take me. i got into it with him from a roll he dropped to third and i stayed in 5th and i still a car length on him. anyone know what his car should run because he thinks his car can beat anyone on the street. I know he cant be putting anymore than 180 to the wheels and i am around am puttting 230 to the wheels with 211 pund feet of torque?

230 to the wheels tuned with a hondata? 7psi non intercooled are we? I hope so.

you can take him. easy. he's running the older VR6, I can take those and I'm N/A. On the bottle I'd smash him. the chip is only good for like 5-7 hp on the VR6, especially the old 12 valve ones.

the thing about that car is the low end and mid range make it feel like it is much faster than it is. You'd take him without really trying.

Assuming equal driver skill, the corrado would win from a stop and they would be pretty even from a roll.

keep in mind there are a few flavors of VR6. the older ones don't hold a candle to the new ones performance wise.

VR6's are pretty quick, my friend had a 1996 passat, that thing couldn't hang with me, but it had some beef packed into it...

If I'm not mistaken, a brand new VR6 is about the same as a stock lude in 1/4 mi.
