First racing experience(s) with the lude :)

Well I had my first decent races today, and I like what happened. First one was agains some sort of newer Jetta at a redlight up a big hill. We were both stick because i heard him downshifting into the light. Light turns green, we're about even from the dig until i hit vtec. Then it was all over. Love VTEC! Can kinda take people by suprise too. Second one was a Carolla Type S on the freeway... well it actually started on the feeder. I needed to get over (to get onto the ramp) and the **** head kept trying to speed up to block me. (This is at about 2 in the morning and there are few other cars... he was just being a dick). So we both get on the freeway, and he keep tailing me (i'm going about 85). Finally, i slow down to about 75 and he gets beside me. I shift into 4th and he went (heard my exhaust im sure) and I pulled on him and passed him with ease. I love how fast 80-110 is in the lude. While going, this mustang pulled up beside us, and after beating the Carolla, i figured what the hell. The mustang looked like a GT and was one of the newer models. But at highway speed i though maybe i had a chance. So we go.. and he flies past me. Only to the point that i can read the "COBRA" on the back bumper. So, dont feel bad about that one. But man, it was fast . Anyways it was a good night.

1.8-liter DOHC 16-valve VVT-I
4-cylinder
130 hp @ 6,000 rpm;
125 lb.-ft. @ 4,200 rpm

Curb Weight 2,550

Same as base Carolla w/ a oem kit... that's horrible.

32 MPG though

keke nice kills, Corolla S's are a joke though, I've been in one that had a K&N air filter. The owner thinks it's fast

its not even worth racing a corolla-s. as for the jetta, depends what model becuz the GLi's are torque monsters. and as for mustangs. unless u got some heavy mod's the new model stangs will beat u.
