finnally got a srt4

was riding around alil tonight and just minding my bus. a yellow srt4 pulls up next to me, I looked over and couldnt belive it, but I stayed steady, I sped up very lightly and he stayed right next to me, then he nailed it GOD does that car have alot of boost or aleast it sounds like it.

The light infront of us turns red but theres a car infront of me. We go up alil bit farther and we get next to eather other again at about a 60 mph roll, si I drop it into 3rd and I nail it at the same time he does, I run 3rd out the rest of the way and shift to 4th for a few sec. then he lets off.

I was suprised as much as he was I stayed right next to him it was dead even. We stop at the next light and he yells over to me damn that things fast, I havnt had anything stay with me all night.

That made my night, I couldnt belive it, that means that I know with a tunned vafc I know I can atleast pull under a 14.5. I usally dont streetrace to much and when I do its never with anything in my ballpark its the lil ricer that thinks hes fast.

Wow... I'm definately impressed if you could do that against an SRT-4, especially being that you don't have FI/N20/cams.

it was a 60 mph roll. the prelude kills like everything on a roll. I'd like to see some videos of a 60 mph roll and from a light.

You raced him from a roll foolio. In no way does that imply you'll be turning at least a 14.5 at the track.

And I thought the SRT-4 runs a 14.1, at least that's what SCC said.

The SRT's I see at our track are running 13.9-14.1, and there sure are a lot of them. Just last night there were like six at the track. A guy I met in a 5th gen last night raced one. The SRT really got him off the line but after about the 1/8th mile, the SRT wasn't pulling on him as far as I could tell.

at our track there was an SRT4 that was pretty much stock (I think he had a k&n) and was running 14.4's. It was a good race against a 350z, the z took the srt4 on the line, but the srt4 started to pull it in up top.
