DSM Goes Down

Well, finally, a worthy race. It happend last night. Around 2 am, to be more precise. I was on my way home, when I saw blue lights and amber fogs coming up fast, from the back. I was going at a pretty good clip too, foolin around in the city traffic, so I know he was up to something. It was late, so all of the lights were blinking yellow. So I couldn't stop to line up, so I slowed down. And what do you know, a white with black roof and white rims talon shows up next to me. It was a turbo, AWD. ( I know this because I checked after the race) I couldn't tell if he had any mods, his exhaust looked stock, and he had no stickers..(after race, I looked)

The race...
Traffic cleared up....and he pulled halfway behind me. I was in second at 42. He comes next to me, and taps his gas, giving the gesture that he wants to go. I hit it, and he does about the same time. I got a 1/2 car jump by the top of second, and threw it into third at about 8000. At the top of third, he was 1.5 carlengths behind me. I shifted to 4th at 8000 again, went to 105, and he was 2 cars behind, and not gaining...at that point, he hit his brakes. I slowed down too, and he got next to me. Kid looked young. He nodded his head, and I let him pass me so I could see the back of his car. The I turned off, and went home. I didnt post it last nite, because it was late, and I was tired. I just got back tonite, so I posted this right away. It feels good to race a decently quick car, besides pesky civics. Ohh, my SH is bone stock! When a lude is in VTEC, watch out! All this happend very quickly!

Hey thanks. I kinda like it stock. Maybe some supper grippy falken tires in the future. The only mod I might do is a JRSC, but I wont have that money until I graduate and start workin a real job. Thats the whole reason I bought a 5 gen prelude SH, there really isnt much modding you need to do. Its fast, and handles well. I think a GSR would make a better aftermarket Honda car.
