just wondering, friend of mine as a 2003 RSX base 5spd, 18' chrome wheels, lowered, no mods, he's new to modding and doesnt know anything. so before he beefs up his ride i wanna know if i can earn some bragging rights. i got a 2000 lude, lowered (eibach) AEM CAI and Tanabe cat-back, thats bout it, oh yea, kuhmo escta supra's
I doubt it, I got stretched by an RSX-S the other day...I have a SS.....Each Gear he walked me...It seemed like my 3rd was going on forever....and he still just kept going.....I am trying to get my parts up for my 5spd conversion....anyone know where I can get parts like the Clutch Dampener, Vehicle Speed Sensor, Reverse Switch, Hydrolic Lines, 5spd Starter, those are the only things I need left on the list...I need em so I could stop losing to these RSX-S

is the ss lude really that slow? to be beaten by a rsx base? thats 40hp difference. and you said you were beaten by a civic ex? thats 73hp diff! i used to play around with my friends back in hs, and with my 01 sedan accord v6 (200hp) auto 4 speed i would RAPE my friends 5 speed civic hx

I LOVE BLACKTRAX!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! MIRACLE SHOP I TELL YOU!!!
i raced my friend's stock minus the 17's 5spd base rsx last night and i won by a car length. i'm an SH with just I/E.
i've never had the misfortune of driving a SS
no offense man, but you've gotta be a bad driver. 5spd ludes vs. Type S should be a drivers race, a 5spd lude should be able to take a base rsx easily.. not by a car length.
I think the SS vs. base rsx would be close. Because of drivetrain whp loss, you wont be putting out a lot more whp than him. He weighs 2-300lbs less though, plus he has chrome rims. Only one way to find out.. race him

i didn't think it would matter so i didn't say it, but i've been having trouble with rough shifts, engaging problems and grinding. i'm baby shifting until the lude's in better shape. take it however you want, but either way eat me.

Acura MDX can beat a SS lude, has a better 1/4 mile time

1st run: from stop, beat me by 1-2 full car lengths, started to catch up in the end, at around the end of 3rd gear.
2nd run: beat me badder
3rd run: this time from a roll, about 15-20mph, I WON!!! put that baby in SS and just about killed my tranny. beat him steadily, about a car length the whole time.
oh well, never again though, this just gives me more motivation for a swap....
hmm, i like the honesty, but i don't know about the 2 full lenghts approximate on the first run, i'd say about a car, not more than that, i raced one myself and that is all he gained on me. He was gunning that little car, so was i.
